Part of the MDHI’s educational mission is making learning appealing. We combine education and entertainment.

Talks in 2026 include the Battles of Tarawa (1943), Saratoga (1777), Antietam (1862), Medicine in the American Revolution, and the Battle of Ia Drang (1965).
- Medicine talks include the latest diagnostic and treatment modalities.
- Business talks focuses on small business and non-governmental organization (NGO) operations.
- Ministry talks highlight teaching and missions.
- Patriotic appearances as Uncle Sam.
The Raleigh County (WV) Veterans and First Responders Museum (RCVFRM) hosts military history talks on the third Friday of every month at 1700 (5 pm). Contact the MDHI at mdharrisinstitute@gmail.com to schedule edutainment for your event and organization.
