This course is an overview of What God made Men to be. This question is not new, as men and women have cooperated and competed to define themselves since the Garden of Eden. People who are not biological males are not men, and those who are not biological females are not women, no matter what they or anyone else wish to be.
The ERIC curriculum, written in 1980, shows how adolescents were taught in the last generation. Compared to the wisdom in scripture regarding men, the 1980s were foolish and the modern day is almost irredeemable. Yet it is easy to see the falling away from the truth over time.

- Premarital Sex in America : How Young Americans Meet, Mate, and Think about Marrying. Regnerus, by Mark and Jeremy Uecker. Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2011.

For the best educational experience, course readings should be paired with lesson readings. As with all courses at MDHI, the online version of What God made Men to be can be a stand-alone class or can augment the in-person version. Most in-person classes are given from 1830-1930 (6:30 to 7:30 PM) on Wednesday nights at Memorial Baptist Church (MBC) in Beckley, WV. Dozens of students have taken the in-person version of many classes at MDHI.
