Fire Fighter Training – Events recounts, examines, and identifies lessons from historical fire and rescue events important to fire training.
Course goals
- The student will master the relevant subject matter.
- The student will consider his or her world view in light of the new information and make whatever changes are needed for consistency.
- The student will change his or her lifestyle to align with the truth that he or she has discovered.

- Fire Fighter 1 and 2 Exam Study Guide (2nd ED), by Mark D. Harris
For the best educational experience, course readings should be paired with lesson readings. As with all courses at MDHI, the online version of Fire Fighter Training – Event can be a stand-alone class or can augment the in-person version. Beaver Volunteer Fire Department (BVFD) conducts in-person classes from 1830-2030 (6:30 to 8:30 PM) on Thursday nights at Station 1 in Beaver WV.
