MDHI Action

We live in a fallen world. Romans 8 reveals that all creation is groaning under sin and waiting for the redemption that will only occur at the final advent of Christ. In the meantime, humans do all we can to prevent emergencies and disasters. When we can’t prevent them, we minimize the suffering and destruction that they cause. The MDHI partners churches all over the world to provide resources such as medication, clothing, and other supplies to needy people, especially in lands torn by war or struck by natural disasters. We also provide resources directly to relief organizations, caring for the sick and injured.

Jesus calls His people to fight for justice. Many brothers and sisters in Christ are imprisoned for their faith. Anyone, from groups to individuals, can write letters to prisoners to encourage them in righteousness and push for their release, knowing that their captors will undoubtedly see the letters as well. Part of the fight for justice is electing people to positions of power who believe in a standard of truth outside themselves. God the embodiment of truth, and His followers are not swayed into falsehood by the shouts of those who hate Him. Christians never put their trust in man (Psalms 118), but do all they can to elect the right people and promote the right policies in their area and nation. The MDHI does not support individual political candidates.

Humanitarian Work

The MDHI partners churches and other organizations to achieve humanitarian goals such as telemedicine, medical supply, and life sustenance. We operate discretely to move people and save lives. Counter-trafficking (drug and human), and security (personal, home, and church) are focus areas.

Dr. Harris worked in Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the USA for decades prior to starting the MDHI. This included teaching English to Communist block refugees in Austria (1985), medical care, Bible instruction, and agricultural work in Belize (1987), and Bible transport and distribution in Hong Kong and China (1988). Major projects since the founding of MDHI have included all those listed on the MDHI pages and others. Please see the in-depth reports below.
