MDHI Science and Technology

The MDHI reveals the person of God through His creation. Our major scientific and technological projects are shown below:

Additive Manufacturing (AM, AKA 3D printing)

MDHI engineers use AM to produce a variety of specialized objects, ranging from parts for spacecraft to toys for Christmas. The MDHI is involved in education,  consultation, and operations such as custom part production.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The MDHI uses AI to edit, but not to write, articles and other literature. We use it to augment medical care by diagnosing diseases, assisting treatment, translating, research, and improving documentation. Cyndi is our AI assistant on this website. Finally, the MDHI uses AI in a plethora of other tasks for education and consultation.

Drones

Drones have revolutionized life, and especially warfare, in the 21st century. The MDHI’s work in Ukraine has enabled us to experience firsthand the danger and promise of drone attackers in land, sea, and air. The MDHI offers education, consultation, and operations. We provide aerial photography and mapping in disaster and public safety operations, agriculture, natural management, surveillance, and a host of other areas.

Hydroponics

Defined as the growing of plants in water instead of in soil, hydroponics allows higher yields, better water efficiency, reduced pesticides, and a controlled environment. Hydroponic gardens can be found in urban apartments, suburban basements, and even eventually in space. MDHI operates a hydroponics garden and offers education, consultation, and production..

Robotics

Robots are taking over many tasks previously performed only by humans, from households to workplaces to outer space. MDHI staff include engineers who are engaged in real-world operations and research in robotics, especially in space. MDHI offers education and consultation, with experience from Alaska to the West Bank in Palestine.

Rocketry

Rockets provide a link between the ground, the air, and space. From model rockets used in high school rocketry clubs to the Saturn V of the Apollo project and the modern SpaceEx Falcon 9, mankind has grown to rely on rockets for day to day life. The MDHI offers education and consultation.

Space

Space is a fertile field for discovery and to provide vital services for life on earth. It is also a terrifying place of international competition and even warfare. The MDHI offers education and consultation.

The Natural World

God created our world and created mankind to enjoy it, care for it, and protect it. The human race has been inadequate in this commission, but we can do better. The MDHI encourages simple projects and research to understand, enjoy, protect, and restore our natural environment. We also encourage such projects, which are often done remotely, to help understand and preserve the past.

The MDHI offers education, consultation, and operations such as invasive species management, such as the Burmese Python in the Florida Everglades.
